Scale Model Zoe - My Renault ZOE electric car

A surprise Christmas present arrived this week, slightly late for Christmas – a scale model of the production version of the Zoe, courtesy of Renault. It came out of the blue, without warning. It is quite different from the Zoe Concept available to buy from the ZE shop.

It came with a message:

“On behalf of the whole Renault ZOE team, I would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.” Stephen Norman, Director Global Marketing and Communications

It’s a nicely made model, in a clear plastic presentation case. It arrived well packaged.

However, personally, I would rather have had news of when my ordered Zoe might arrive. Keeping the customer updated is to me the most important job of marketing and communications.

Hi Trevor, Seen your post, excellent, is that the colour of the car you had pre-reserved at all? I had pre-ordered the blue ‘expression’ base model, but am planning on changing this to the Black Intens if they will allow this, so we’ll see what happens.

Like you I’d much prefer to get some news of delivery date or even some finance figures so I can ensure affordability.

No, the model is white and I reserved a blue one. I would guess all the models are the same – white – is yours?

I got a blue one funnily, I thought they were sending them out in the colour that folks had ordered, strange though that they never said anything in advance, however, it was a great surprise and much appreciated.
