Interesting Trevor, and got a mention on BBC radio.
RCI have had some sort of mix up, and wrote 14 pages,to me to say I only had 10 days to complete the paperwork or else!
On speaking to them they apologised but insisted the paperwork should be completed and returned. I hadn’t changed anything, my end, but the car was out of warranty in Nov.
However its raised some interesting questions at the end ofZoes lifespan.
The battery depreciation reduces by 10% after the 2nd year and each year thereafter. What happens after year 7? If you decide you don’t want to keep Zoe, you are responsible for returning the battery to them!
There are no plans at present to retrofit the new higher capacity batteries to the older Zoes. At present I’m loosing 20% range over winter, meaning a “vertual” milage on full charge of 80 mile on a good day. All the above is as usual AFAIK.

I was never a huge fan of battery rental because of its finance complications. It’s being dropped on the new ZOE 52kWh and I think it’s about time.
