Has anybody else noticed the estimate range showing while charging? I have been looking for this feature but all of a sudden it was there when I charged in the UK. I am guessing it’s a software bug but I cannot seem to recreate it.

Nope not seen that before. Only a %age showing. Hmmm!

Nor do I which is why I was surprised it happened to me that time. Would love to know what caused it because I would try and recreate it. It was an actual counter as you can see in the video. It kept counting up.

Didn’t someone report on here that it happened when the charging wasn’t working properly (for example, if you try to charge at 6A you get a mixed range/charge display and the charge amount doesn’t go up)?

It would be quite a handy feature to see mile estimate while you charge, save you charging for longer than necessary when just trying to get enough range to get home. So we can expect Renault to never release this update.

Or, if they did, it would break something else. 😉

C’mon Andy, not something else, several things.

You can get the current range while charging from ZE on your phone or laptop though you need to check the time of the update.
So the info is available and could/should be displayed in the car.

Of course the info is available but I have never seen a counter over the battery. And it was a counter as it went up during the charge. It makes perfect sense to have but somehow Renault didn’t put it in. So I wonder why it appeared this one time. Guess I was lucky 🙂

I think it’s also related to another bug that when your charge gets interrupted the R-Link does not get a updated batter percentage. If you put in a route R-Link will say you can’t make it. Only to change it’s mind 2 minutes down the road when it finally gets the accurate battery percentage.
