That sounds like a problem with the car rather than the charger. As it is repeatable, your dealer should be able to track down the fault.

No chance,am trying another home charger at another location, no problem.I’m thinking there are two faults. My home mains is “Odd” in some respect, I’ve tried an earth spike, no change. If the car’s taking a charge at the other location its not the car,but if I move the second home charger to my home location instead of the Polar, it won’t charge.I conclude the car won’t accept either chargers at my home location, and both the mains and car are at fault?

    Hi again

Not sure (and apologies if it’s wrong) but has anyone got a granny cable they no longer require for a Zoe?

Picked mine up today, although secondhand I’m well impressed!!

Although it may not solve my supply problems, it may be worth a punt at that price, did you construct it yourself?

Yes, I’ve made several since owning my ZOE. This has the smallest control box yet. It is currently set at 12A charge rate (this can be changed on request). The inline RCD also acts as an On/Off switch.

This may be a duplicate as the first time I posted it, it didn’t appear.

I’m trying to provide some sort of contact information, but the forum refuses every attempt.

Perhaps you can contact me through SpeakEV – https://speakev.com/members/andyfras.800/

Paypal would be fine, but I’m struggling to find a way to establish email contact.

I am on googlemail. You’d need to add 51 to the end of my forum ID.
