I’ve looked at the handbook and I have partly removed the panel (by the seat it doesn’t seem to want to come free) but I can’t get the light assembly to come free from the back of the car. It won’t budge at all. Is there a step missing in the instructions?

Appears to be a large plastic piece attached to the light assembly from inside that would prevent the removal.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

I replaced a brake bulb last week cost £8 from Europarts.

inside the boot behind the light unit you will see three Black plastic trim clips, pull out the centre of the clip and the whole clip then pulls out, bend down the trim and look up behind the light, you will see like a plastic lollipop sticking down, it has a Torx screw in the end, once you unscrew that the light assy is ready to pull out from the outsidde of the car.

I thought that was probably the thing blocking it. Service and MOT was due so I let the Renault service team do it. I had the bulb and they didn’t charge me so I assume they used it.
