We have had a Zoe for 2 years from new, and had 4 burst tyres in that time, compared with 2 in 20 years for similar petrol cars on similar roads (admittedly potholey, but they always have been, and we drive cautiously accordingly) driven by the same people. I would really like to replace the standard tyres with something strong, as long as it is safe and legal. The cost of a taxi to work after just one burst (we live in an area with no public transport within ~10 km) is such that I don’t care about worsening performance or the cost of the tyres (within reason…), and sooner or later the AA are going to get fed up…
Our current tyres are the standard Michelin 195 55 R16 or 195 55 R16 H
(Other than that, it is a great car!)
We’d be grateful for any information, thanks.
