Thanks Surya, good to see that it is possible to obtain this, but will it work without a s/w mod and will it then only work with your car?
Also to use it in the UK you will need a suitable adaptor for our our 3pin 13 amp sockets.

Yep, it should just work without any updates to the car

I bought 2 of those adaptor plugs before I left. It was hard to find the ones that support the ground. Is 13 amp standard in the UK? In Belgium 16 amp is more common.

Yes, 13amp with 3 rectangular pins is the UK standard for domestic installations.

I’m using the cable for the first time now. 57% to full will take 8:40 according to the car.
The cable is plugged into a French to UK adapter (13 amps) which is plugged into a UK to camper outlet (16 amps) so I’ unsure how much we’re using.

I think that the cable limits the current to 10A regardless of what is is plugged into.

Could be but the french plug attached to the charger clearly states 16amps

You are a brave man, Surya. Glad to hear that you have reached your campsite and you were able to charge-up.
If you find yourself in the Manchester-Liverpool area (which is known as the north-west in London-centric UK) you are welcome to use my home-charger (WA2 0UF). In my experience, apart from Ecotricity, everything else in the UK infrastructure is suspect. Even those suppliers (mainly local authorities) who charged only for the access-card, are now blocking users since the government pulled the funding.

A 16A charge rate is about 12% per hour.
