    What version is everyone runnings.

I’m on v940.v6003 Which was provided with my car in March, I’ve noticed quite a few locations locally have mistakes, i.e. old road layout for several years ago.

R-link store is showing v945.6225 is the latest I “could” download. But at a cost of £55.

? I got mine 5 weeks ago and all sw etc was supposed to be updated then and I have V930 V5610

Do maps ever get updated with Renault instigated updates? or is it only when you buy map updates?

Sandy what did it say in the brochure from which you chose your car
The April brochure says 1 year free tom tom live services which i assume includes map updates

Connectivity : All R-link applications including email, R-Link tweet, Renault assistance, and weather + TomTom® LIVE services (1 year subscription)

My car was a demonstrator. But all the maps stuff was activated when I got the car. How do you update your TomTom? If you go via R-link store on your PC its £55.

This is what R-link site tells me when I check maps

United Kingdom & Republic of Ireland
    Purchased in a pack

    Purchased on 30/03/2015

No option to update for free, is there a time frame where we get free updates? I’ll be fecked if I’m paying £55 for an update on a 3 month old purchase.

I seem to remember within all the paperwork I received that you have two weeks (maybe 4 I can’t remember for definite) from delivery of the car to check for updates and it there are any they are free during that time frame.

I must check mine tonight, although I had loads of updates for various items.

I updated my r-link the moment I got it home, same night. No updates for me, seems totally random and hit or miss.

Also Bruce, the 1 year subscription is for Live Services only. Renault have pulled a blinder of a fast one with R-link. You get a couple of month of 1 subscription (Coyote), a year on some subs, 3 years on others.

Safe to say if Apple or Google ran their app stores this shonkily they wouldn’t be the big players they are today.

Hi looks like you are right as i took out the 3 year extension
And the photo shows my end date 2018
Does it show when your end date is
I had trouble with my previous car coming with out of date maps and wanting money for upgrade i found out what version should have been installed on delivery date and made them install the latest as the toyota units had probably been sat on a shelf for months before being installed
