My feedback would be that the 25% subsidy is only of the base prise of each model. The options such as 17″ alloys and metallic paint do not qualify for this. On the intens and zen this equates to just under £4200 PICG.
It’s kinda naughty Renault quoting up to £5000 off the Zoe through the grant as this will never be achievable with the current models.
Appmacguy, I agree that options do not qualify for the UK PICG and believe I have it set that way (shout if you see an error).
What’s interesting is that in France the subsidy does seem to cover options, so they have an incentive to take as many options as they can. To see the difference select some options in the Configurator with the language set to English and again with it set to French. The Italians, sadly, have no subsidy anyway.
I do apologise Trevor, you are correct the options do not change the grant. I was comparing to the renault configurator which adds the £650 delivery on top to get their total price where your config price is £650 shy.
Yes, I haven’t found a neat way to handle the delivery charge yet as there doesn’t appear to be an equivalent for the French and Italian versions of the configurator. I guess they just don’t have to pay such a charge, or else they do but there’s no requirement for it to be quoted on their websites.
