Hi all….
Having owned (& loved every minute!) my Zoe I am still getting to grips with a few things, the R-link baffles me at times.
I removed the SD card, placed it in my computer and performed the update….well, it says it is up to date. I then went searching for the freebie apps and found a couple I thought I would try.
I installed them onto the SD card and put the card back in the car and now, when I try to load one of the apps, the free ‘Aquarium’ one for instance, I get the following message in the screen:
“The product is too large to download in your vehicle. Please use your SD card and connect to your R-Link store account from a computer connected to the Internet”
I am very vary of doing anything with the SD card as I don’t want to wipe it and being a bit of a technophobe I am stuck as to what to do next?
I am vey new to the R-Link so any help and advice is much appreciated. Thank you in advanceNovember 6, 2015 at 22:33 #24234Hi @jester
It sound like it is not yet on your SD card, I would try again (I have Aquarium on mine)
Remove SD card by touching + sign on bottom right of screen and select ‘Remove SD card’ answer yes to ‘do you want to remove SD card’ then remove card.
Put it in SD slot of PC and open Rlink toolbox then click ‘Launch my downloads’
After completion return SD card to car and click ‘services’ on Rlink you should then see button to click for Aquarium.Hope this works for you, remember to feed the fish 🙂

When I picked up the Zoe about three weeks ago I’m sure that when I used the voice command to access the phone menu, it displayed the same menu as if you pressed the button on the touch screen (i.e. images of phone book, call logs, etc etc). Now when I use the voice command for the phone it just comes up with a blank box with a cursor at the start of it with the audio still asking me ‘what would you like to do?’. It seems that if I say ‘recent calls’ (despite not seeing any options for it all) it will dutifully bring back recent logs but the difference in the screens suggests to me that some setting has gone wrong somewhere. In addition if I say something like ‘call Danni’ it will often come back with a long list of two digit numbers such as 91, 93, 96, 75, etc etc shown on the screen.
Any suggestions anyone?!
Have tried a factory reset and it’s not worked, also have updated the SD card with latest bits.
November 7, 2015 at 12:49 #24245Have you tried unpairing/pairing your phone so it can ‘relearn’ details
November 9, 2015 at 07:42 #24270Cheers Mo,
When I did the factory reset I think it unpaired it anyway but will give it a go.
Harry.
November 19, 2015 at 13:40 #24534I actually love how the Rlink handles a failed bluetooth connection, it seems to corrupt the connection and you cant then remove it from rlink, the only way to then reconnect your phone via bluetooth is to factory reset rlink.
Steamin’ turd of an in car solution. The problem is Renault wrote it all, they should have outsourced to Google or some code monkey in Russia.
December 5, 2015 at 09:50 #24910Hi, same title – different question. I cannot seem to find an App in the Apple App store – can anyone tell me what to search for please – I though R-Link would have done it, but nothing comes up… Thanks
December 5, 2015 at 10:01 #24911Hi
In safari type in renault ze app the search will give you a download linkDecember 5, 2015 at 10:20 #24912I find the app locks up so i have a link to myrenault ze next to the app
Still can not set calander have to use my win laptop to do this
I do not use my car every day so i charge to 90%ish then select the timer in the car and set a time that has passed that way i can use the comfort timer from the app without leaving the car @ 100% and when i know im going out press charge now and set comfort timer .December 5, 2015 at 10:56 #24913Thanks Bruce, I have found the app now – just can’t register. On the ZE site it is asking for an “Activation Code” that should have been given to me at point of sale. I have asked the garage but they are not sure what I mean….. did you get given an activation code? Cheers Tim
