Yes – I have to say that I have found the same as andy-integrale i.e.. warm air followed by cold air. And yet at other times …perhaps something to do with the %age battery charge maybe…warm and toasty.
We are still experimenting with the options and so can’t be categorical as yet about our findings having Zoe for almost 3 weeks now.
The comfort on timer when plugged in works great. Key fob good. Timer when not plugged in …yet to try and remotely via ZE is hit and miss and I guess dependent on phone reception.

TDWM, as Dexter says there’s very little data on the long term effects of fast charging. However, I’ve read a couple of articles saying that there haven’t been the issues that people feared. I think I read about a Leaf owner who fast charges everyday and has no worse battery degradation than other Leafs of the same mileage. I probably average a fast charge per week, and have seen no degradation after 16k+ miles and 16 months.

Well I think Renault has learned from the some 15000 Zoes they have sold so far and had optimized their battery risk management. :-/

Thanks Andy. Will email my dealer about this. It didn’t make any sense to me for it not to work when not plugged in. Minimum battery capacity thing I can understand but it should just work. Might see if any other Irish Zoe user has this issue.

I’ve gotta have an update, dash change and battery check and they have quoted 2 weeks at Birmingham?

Yes, it just worked for me with battery at 54%. It took about 2 minutes to start after turning it on via ZE Online.

Just tried it without plugging in. No joy with the interactive services after 10 minutes of waiting. Car is on my drive with 80% battery but not plugged in.
No entirely happy with this since it’s a handy function but not working unless plugged in. Unless this is a Irish issue only? Can anyone confirm that the remote turning on of the aircon via the app works for them when the car is not plugged in?

Lower than 30%. That is good to know. I read lower than 45% somewhere else. On the interactive services website actually. It says “Available if battery level is above 45%”.
So timer for when you are charging, remote app turn on now for when you are out. Must time the delay.

Think I just found the answer in the handbook
However, the function can be deactivated
if:
– the charging socket is disconnected;
– the “Remote Activation” function is
activated – please see the information
on “Air conditioning: remote activation”
in Section 2;
– the traction battery charging level is
lower than 30%.November 24, 2014 at 22:52 #10598In reply to: Buying Zoe without Home charge point
TDWM, Tesla superchargers are DC chargers with a special connector. Not compatible with any other car as far as I know.
Yes, 43kW charging has an effect on the battery. Nobody knows how much as there is no data available online. I certainly have not seen it here in this forum. Besides, you have a battery lease for a reason. -
