    @smitchy73 & @appmacguy: I made a spreadsheet of the various prices I was quoted via Motorline here:

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ArKa9ijgaeDidExiSDl2dVgyZzhBN0pac05IREF5a2c&usp=drive_web

    If it’s not visible, let me know and I’ll fix permissions accordingly.

    You won’t get 0% finance unless something drastic changes. I’d love for the Zoe to be cheaper, but I can’t see it happening any time soon. Perhaps they’ll introduce an offer if/when initial sales are sluggish.

    I posted the initial numbers I was given (no negotiation yet, test drive re-booked for this saturday) in another topic but I’ll repeat them here:

    48 month PCP with a £2500 deposit:
    £15,195 OTR price for the Zoe Zen
    12% APR
    £245.70 (+ battery) per month
    £4810.40 ‘balloon’ (final) payment (if you want to keep the car)

    I asked about the average ‘capital return’ sum (what you are likely to get back if the car is worth more than the balloon payment at the end of the term) and he said on the Clio it was usually between £500 and £1000 depending on the state of the vehicle.

    For straight out HP the figures are:

    60 months, £2500 deposit
    £15,195 OTR price for the Zoe Zen
    14% APR
    £285/month (+battery)

    Both these sets of figures are for the un-customised Zen at £15,195

    Based on my calculations for these kind of sums over 60 months, every 0.5% on the APR equates to about £2.50/month. A quick check on CompareTheMarket shows a number of options for loans around 5 or 6% APR which would be a saving of £44 a month compared to what I was quoted (and an overall saving of about £2600).

    If you think you can get £2500 discount off the Zoe by taking the dealer finance feel free to try but I’d suggest looking elsewhere for a loan if you are thinking HP.

    @smitchy

    Had my phone call from my dealer this morning. Advised that my car was due to leave the factory on 4th June, with arrival in Scotland around the end of June.

    Do you think yours is so much earlier than mine (a month) because of your pre-reservation (I’m #172)? I believe I ordered as soon as ordering opened, so I’m not sure how Renault works out when they should build a particular vehicle.

    The pre reservation thing is not used in the ordering process, it was just to give you a sneak preview and give you a chance (because you were kept up to date) to order it quickly. They really gave it the wrong name, a false impression of exclusivity. The order sequence is just based on the date and time that the dealer orders it at Renault, except when you buy one of the lot that the dealer pre-ordered (I could have had my Zoe in that case today, but I didn’t want the 17″ wheels that their stock had).

    It’s nice to see Renault being as crystal clear with everyone as ever.

    Our finance is coming out at 4% flat (about 9% apr) £202 pm £6000 part ex)

    As per the Pre res contract section 12 reservations are guaranteed to receive their vehicle before those who have not Pre reserved. (uk) therefore I wondered if those who have dates could let others know if you were a reservation. Or simply test drove and ordered?

    Anyone heard anything about the charging point yet?

    You got an actual pre reservation contract? Can you state the exact sentence there? Because here in Holland it just meant you got an oppurtunity to reserve before everybody else, which is practice was not the case since some without pre reservations knew via their dealer when they could order (before the national test drive day).

    Today I finally had the opportunity to test drive the ZOE in Denmark, the car I drove had just been registered this morning (with local plates) so it wasn’t possible to drive before today!
    It was amazing to drive, really loved it, and he R-Link was easy and intuitive to use, but I was unable to find the ZE-Voice…

    Anyhow, this thread is about ordering, so I was told that everyone who pre-ordered would get a mail today or tomorrow so we could book our official test drive next week. Renault Denmark will get the first 60 cars end of May and we can pick them up June 3rd (based that our spec is one of those 60).
    I will be the first private person to own one in Sweden, and since I can pick it up on June 3rd, the first in Scandinavia (since it’s not sold in Norway, Sweden, Finland).

    Other good news is that the number of Mennekes chargers have increased from 2 to 5 South of Gothenburg, but the charger next to my home is not yet in place and I will not have a charger at home… so I might get the car without any possibility to use it… we will see…

    Hi here is the requested wording in the uk Pre reservation contract;
    section 12 “we do guarentee that the vehichle reserved will have priority over those that have not been reserved”

    Therefore we should as per this forum and other online methods get the vehicle before others not reserved in the uk. Well us and the other 350 reservations.

    I hope this helps.

    Has anyone managed to get their car prioritised through this clause? I asked Renault customer service if my pre-reservation got me higher in the queue and they said no. Now I think I need to go back and hassle them. They did confirm to my dealer that they would credit the £49 against my order so at least they are not trying to diddle me!!

    AndyW just an observation, if dealers have reserved ‘stock’ cars for sale at launch would this be part of the priority reserved Zoe’s.

    What I can see happening is dealers won’t just be ordering specifically for customers and come launch each dealership may have 3 or 4 ‘stock’ cars for sale that anyone could turn up and buy without having reserved. Off course the specification of these are likely to be different to any existing customer orders.
