Hello all, I am Andy and live in Ireland – Last week i test drove a 2013 Renault zoe (old now I know) from a dealer and put a deposit down on it.
When taking it out for a test drive I noticed the blue tinted plastic film seemed to be peeling off the chrome badges (front and back I think. what would be the best thing to do? pull / scrape the remainder of the blue film off , and if so how/what would be the best way to remove it so it just shows the chrome badges?
also, being new to the electric EV market and especially the Zoe .. do the ones of that vintage have front Fog lights? … are they built into the headlights? or is there no front fogs at all on the Zoe of that age? –
many thanks.
I had an early ZOE and I’m pretty sure there were no front fogs.
With regard to the peeling film that was common. If buying from a Renault dealer I’d see if they’d replace it (I had mine done under warranty) as a good will gesture, otherwise you’ll just have to pull it off yourself. I don’t think it does anything useful.
