If my Euro Millions tickets come up with the jackpot I would definately buy a Tesla S, I’d also look to get the Lightening GT from a british made company I think Delta Motorsports looks amazing.
I know Whatcar are estimating the i3 to be approx £30k here in the UK, guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
December 30, 2012 at 13:56 #1515I like the look of the i3 too – but it will be at least twice the price of the Zoe (though batteries are included).
My fear, though, is that the delays happening to the Zoe will happen to the i3 and similar launches, so it would be 2014/5 before you get your i3.
December 31, 2012 at 17:28 #1518At this rate though with the delays to the Zoe, the i3 could be coming out at the same time, if it runs on schedule, which I think it might do.
However, I’ve been keeping an eye on a demonstrator Nissan Leaf which has had another £500 dropped off the price so it’s now £18495, very tempting, that the Zoe Intens plus about four year battery lease for my 18k miles per annum(guesstimate).
December 31, 2012 at 18:55 #1520That’s a good price with battery included, for sure.
January 1, 2013 at 09:17 #1522Yeah it is, it’s only 9 months old with 2500 miles on it, but something still has me attached to the Zoe, further range, the chameleon charger, the R Link, the colour, the tyres, the battery lease gives the security for any problems, breakdown cover (which touch wood never needs to be used) Still tempting for the outright ownership!
January 4, 2013 at 23:58 #1529Renault do seem to have ‘thought of everything’!
January 24, 2013 at 00:02 #1483I guess I can wait, but it does eat away at your confidence.
Happy Christmas anyway!
February 5, 2013 at 13:53 #1869I asked Renault last week on Facebook and they told me that ZOE would be delivered in Q1 of 2013 while Spain would see them in May-June. Somehow I doubt this since we’re already in February and thus mid-Q1 and no sign from Renault that we are nearing a release…
Anyhow knows how many have been sold so far and how many Renault have prepared for the launch? I assume we who have booked would get them before the shops and thus other consumers.
I sold my previous car in 2005 and have been waiting for an EV since then… 7 years is a long wait…
February 6, 2013 at 12:42 #1870I got this message on Facebook today from one of the ZOE groups:
En Francia se han matriculado 70 unidades del #Zoe en el mes de Enero, posiblemente destinadas a concesionarios y test drive. (Texto en Francés)
In France have enrolled 70 units of the #Zoe in the month of January, possibly intended for dealers and test drive. (Text in French) (Translated by Bing)Hopefully that means that we can get ours soon, hopefully within Q1 as they told me last week
February 6, 2013 at 21:34 #1871That’s not a lot of vehicles in a month – I wonder if that means it will take months just to deliver Zoes ordered in France.
