Consuption of petroleum products in Europe is down again in 2011. We are succesfully cutting the oil industry off (hopefully).
That is encouraging news!

Indeed european production (especially UK an Norway) is falling even faster than consumption.
I think it’s still good news we were able to stop increasing consumption and curb it down by roughly 3% each year. We need to make the transition slowly and not like an addict that goes cold turkey 🙂
My next car is going to be electric and I’m waiting just like many others (car sales are down) for the industry to offer sth. really new.
