So my insurance is with Admiral …yes mention the battery and ensure it is covered…tell them you lease it. Cable cover is not included with mine.

You have to insure the battery even though you lease it. The value of the battery is £7600. Also make sure you get ‘cable liability’ incase someone trips over you cable and injures themselves.

That’s hard for me to judge, I’ve only had my car for a couple of months. All of my charges yesterday were around 20 minutes and it was interesting that the charge with the highest average rate was the one where I charged most fully. Clearly something odd is going on. My only observation was that it was a cold day and it was sub zero when I first charged. Having just driven through the road work section of the M3 for 20 minutes at a bit under 50mph perhaps the battery was a bit colder than usual and couldn’t accept the full 43kW. It seems odd that the car reduces the charge rate sometimes for no apparent reason. I was the only one using the chargers. None of the reduced rate charges caused me problems but it would be nice if they worked at the advertised rate.
I’ll keep an eye on the rate and see if it changes when the weather is a bit warmer.

Remainder of the 4 year warranty and the battery is covered under the payments. That’s a deal.

Thankyou 🙂 did they offer you a good deal? They are advertising £129 pm plus £129 deposit (excluding battery hire) seems a pretty good deal so not sure whether there would be room for negotiation?

I played Renault and Evans Halshaw off against each other until I got down to the best deal I would get which was with Renault, my deal was:
£100 Deposit
£180pm (INCLUDES £66 Battery hire)
9000 Miles
Model: Zoe Intens
Freebies: Granny charging cable.
Purchased: A week before ChristmasJanuary 21, 2015 at 06:59 #11973In reply to: \"Charging Impossible\" – \"Check Cruise Control\"
That’s doing the same as my first car when it failed. Required a new traction battery to be fitted.
Log with customer care, these things need to get sorted.

I have recently done a deal with a Renault Garage in Birmingham..
Depends on what you mean by good really in my eyes i got what i wanted, Could i have got more don’t know i always lay my cards down and let them know they have one shot to get my sale and if they don’t do it right i will walk and there will be no hang on one min let me see what i can do ? eeerr should have done that first time..
Anyway we have a Vauxhall Mokka at present great car low mileage and well looked after..
We looked at a Nissan Leaf first on Saturday and they offered me the deal below:
Leaf Acenta Middle of range
Mokka £9000 Trade in i owe £3500 on Mokka
Deposit £1000
48x £229 a month including battery lease
Final ballon payment £8996 or walk away
I would have £5500 in my pocket to go towards paying of my Motorbike loan.
Seemed a good deal but Balloon payment was to high after 4 years.Renault Zoe Intens
Mokka £10250
Deposit £1000
48x £210 includes Battery lease @ £50 for 10,000 miles a year
Final Balloon payment £5500
I would get £6750 in pocket which would pay bike loan. Not far off £19 a month different but less of a final balloon payment and i get extra money from trade in.
All in all after this deal i have done and adding up running cost and loans like bike loan etc i will be £178 a month better off so in my eyes i am very very happy with my deal i will own my motorbike and never have to by petrol for the car again or tax.
It was all about saving pennies when we decided to change and i think we did a great job all around.. And after 3-4 years either change the zoe or pay £5500 to buy the Zoe simples.
