I’m seeing issues with members replying to threads in the forum but occasionally their replies are not appearing. In fact they are being held in a queue by the forum software for me to review. This is a bug – and I can’t see why it happens sometimes.
If you see a thread discussion where a post seems to be out of order, this is probably the cause.
Anyway, my apologies for this, and if you make a post and it doesn’t appear immediately you are very welcome to drop me an email (to trevor-larkum at armourarchive.co.uk) and I will fix it asap. The email can be as simple as you like – e.g. a header of Forum Post Delayed and no body.

Found it – sorry, it was in a new folder I hadn’t seen before. Again I don’t know why it was held there but it’s now published. I’ve made some other changes to the forum in the hope of fixing this and similar issues.

I see the topic has appeared but do let me know what other problems you encounter. I’m using the bbPress forum since it’s the one best integrated to the WordPress website, but I’m fast losing patience with it.
AnonymousIt seems to me that there are length limits to posts – stripping back my original post to less than 1/5th allowed it to submit. Then I tried posting replies to the topic in order to add the rest and again I appear to be blocked so maybe there is a time limit as well on how many posts you can make? Anti-spam maybe? I have lots to share from my chat today with the renault dealership 😉
