ps dantup if you go blackpool do you stop on route or charge there?
Haven’t been to Blackpool, but we did go to Southport. We stopped and charged at Lymm (in both directions; it was cold and we had no home charger then, so left without a full battery).
If I was going to Blackpool now I’d probably charge in both directions at Charnock Richard:
Home -> Charnock Richard = 43 miles
Charnock Richard -> Blackpool / Blackpool -> Charnock Richard = 60 miles
Charnock Richard -> Home = 43 milesThough if I was feeling brave (it’s 73 miles, on the motorway that could be slightly risky) there’s a 7kW charger at Houndshill Shopping Centre; so if there for 3-4 hours, that should give a full charge for the return journey. Although you could top-up at the services for 5 mins to ensure you make the 73 miles, it charges so fast at the services, it probably makes more sense to just stay 20 mins than worry about getting a 3-4 hour charge while there.
May 31, 2015 at 18:23 #18886No need to wait for the reg number Ben, just putting ‘tbc’ on the online forms should work a treat.
Ecotricity told me to just put our existing car registrations in, so we did. I’d agree, order them sooner rather than later 🙂
May 31, 2015 at 18:44 #18890Hi Dan actually it was the Asda at the Trafford centre thinking about it – that uses the Polar card.
May 31, 2015 at 19:48 #18893Ill get them ordered tomoz thanks everyone for your advice
May 31, 2015 at 19:52 #18894What spec colour and wheels did you order @bencompston?
May 31, 2015 at 19:56 #18895Samsam
I ordered it in generic white intens model in the recent deals from evans halshaw in sheffield with 16″ alloys
I got the 2yr pcp due to a work accident in january and breaking my leg pretty bad im unable to drive a manual car for the next 2yrs, this car fitted my needs perfectly,
alloams living with the zoe videos on youtube over the past year also made me realise its more than perfect, and i love gadgets and this car has plenty.
The bonus is if i dont like it after 2yrs i can hand it back, im just praying after 2yrs renault will be selling the batteries to people who previously leased them fingers crossed i guess…May 31, 2015 at 20:06 #18896Sorry to hear of your accident, zoe will look after you. Ours has become part of the family as I guess yours will. Great choice of colour and spec. The whites are not available any more I believe. We all live in hope with the batteries, renault have to do something as it’s all a bit of a shambles at the moment.
May 31, 2015 at 20:10 #18897White is no longer available? So now they’ve got rid of the most popular colour. Strange way to sell cars, delete all the popular options lol
Your going to love your Zoe (so long as you don’t push your limit/or gave charging issues).
May 31, 2015 at 20:20 #18899My thinking is the batteries are around £3,500 ish let us lease for 3yrs at say £600-900 a year, knock the amount we have paid off and let us purchase with the remaining balance outright, this will help 2nd hand sales, and ensure people like me on pcp plans dont just hand the vehicles back and consider keeping them if they dont do this they best have a large yard to store everyones zoes in after our pcp plans expire 🙂
May 31, 2015 at 21:32 #18902Terms of the battery rental agreement is that you have to insure the battery as well as the car for a figure of over £6000. The battery then after year one depreciates at just under 1% per month. So after 2 years you will still be liable for around £5500.
