Finally got my car yesterday and have put it on charge this afternoon and when it was under 80% it was quite quiet but I’ve noticed its charging noise is a little up and down over the last 20%. I don’t see it being an issue with my neighbours, i set it to charge in the middle of the day when most people are at work (the benefit of working nights).
The age of your neighbours can also be a factor – most of us lose high frequency hearing as we get older and from middle age it can be difficult to hear the ZOE charging (I know someone in his 40s who can’t hear mine when it’s charging).
Conversely you may be doing your neighbourhood a favour because ‘youths’ may find the noise particularly unsettling, like a mosquito device!
@trevor there is a 2 year old next door who was in when i charged today but i couldn’t here any screaming so i don’t think it bothered him.
