Afternoon all. 3rd day into owning a new Zoe an issue has occured with the reverse camera being stuck on. Tried turning car off and on again to no avail.. After approx 15 minutes the display seemed to reboot and all went back to normal… Anyone had or heard of similar issues.. Regards
April 5, 2015 at 17:35 #15389Nothing so extreme but it can take an age to switch from reverse mode to drive mode I’ve noticed. Also noticed that if your in a hurry you can be out of reverse and heading forward before the reverse camera even loads.
Have you carried out all the r-link firmware updates?
April 5, 2015 at 18:33 #15395It might be worth forcing an R-Link reset (it’s deep in one of the menus).
April 5, 2015 at 20:52 #15408I was assured by the dealer they had installed all the latest firmware on Thursday this week when we took delivery.. Is there anyware I can check this on the R link.. Also to add to the issues the keyless entry auto locking has packed up…Do hope this is not a sign of things to come..
April 5, 2015 at 21:48 #15410Download the r-link software on a PC and check the SD card. It’s easy enough after a lot of fannying about.

Are you aware this doesn’t work if you use the buttons on the keyfob until you start/stop the car?
(And presumably you know you need to press the button on the door handle? I didn’t; and thought ours was bust for the first few hours! My Dad’s Megane had a sensor on the handle so you just used the handle normally and it opened!)
April 5, 2015 at 22:34 #15415That could be the issue Dan, I did use the button on the fob after a journey to open the charge point… will give it ago in the morning. Thanks for the heads up..Will try down loading the software Sandy thanks… 🙂
April 5, 2015 at 22:38 #15416Only unlocking/locking the car with the fob will disable the auto lock/unlock. If you just press the Charge Flap button, it’ll unlock the cable but not disable the auto locking.
Now I know how it works, I never use the lock/unlock buttons on the fob (but do use the charge flap one, and sometimes the heating); it’s a really nice little feature, especially if you’re carrying shopping or holding hands of young children!
April 6, 2015 at 00:11 #15417It is a neat feature. Confirms to you by bleeping twice as well. Although it’s strange renault would add the gubbins to bleep and only use it in 1 scenario. Couldn’t see anything in r-link for other uses of the bleep-bleep.
April 6, 2015 at 08:59 #15418I thought the same, but it’s quite nice it’s only used for this, there’s no mistaking what it means! 🙂
