Is Twizy battery rental the same price as the Zoe?

You get one for a couple of hours for that in the lakes!
If people thought battery rental affect the second hand value, imagine what a £45 rental is doing to the Twizy!

I have signed for the car, but not put pen to paper for the RCI battery contract, just had figures from the current brochure at the time. I just don’t know if I will loose the deposit if we pull out. If that is the case I feel it is very unfair, but tonight will be quite sleepless.
We had a situation like this from last weekend where the salesman has quoted the old figures (even though we had told them the prices had gone up). Spoke to RCI and they have honoured the old monthly payment so I would hope you have no issues.
Thanks for the concern. We have transferred our deposit to a brand new one Energy Blue one on PCP. Paying the new battery rates, but at the deals on the new car I am more than happy.
Shame they had no flat white ones (or metallic white for that matter) as I am treating the car as a lease car (given the rather generous residual figures quoted!!!) so the metallic is costing us £13 a month.

Feel free to check SK64FCL too. I have issues where heater gets confused on how to blow out of face level vents, decides to make lots of fan noise with no output from any vents even though you’ve selected them. Switching aircon on/off kind of kicks it back into working, until the next time you flick between windscreen and face, then it plays up again.
Also I have pants range, even when driving slow. In fact I get similar range in normal mode driving like i stole my Zoe. On a full “tank” 75miles feels like the limit.
If you could magic my range to 90miles, or magic 5-10 more KW into the battery to ensure more range I’d be much appreciated lol

I queried them on the excess mileage and they said the 30p is only on the 3,000 mile (yes it is £45) (750miles per quarter) lease. Still a bit of confusion on the other excess as the lady I spoke to was adamant that the other excess is 7.5p per mile but the lease I just signed on our demonstrator says £4.50 per 100 miles so 4.5p a mile.
So it’s definitely come down from 7.5p to 4.5p? I know the PCP additional charge was around that; but our battery rental was £7.50 per 100 miles (the 9k rental). That’s a reasonable change; especially with the £20/month increase being offset by cheaper cars. Current deals do seem better overall than ours in March. Hope the sales increase as a result!
Someone should really fix the offers site… Between the 49 month thing and “ZOE monthly payment of £89 per month excludes mandatory battery hire from £70 per month, based on 7500 miles per year, excess miles 30p per mile including VAT.” isn’t going to help them sell!

in forum Zoe News and DiscussionThanks to the RCI battery cost change, I’ve changed my order for our Zoe.
I am now getting a brand new Dynamique Intens in Energy Blue (no white cars were available) on 9000 miles pa 3 yr PCP & a 9000 3 year battery rental.
Including the option to purchase fee the GFV is £6815 for a 3 yr old 27000 mile car. I guess it will be going back!!!!
My charging point has been installed today so now I just need the car which according to the system is on its way from France!!!!

Spoken to RCI and there was a fault on the system, the battery rentals I posted are mostly correct but 24K should be £169 & 30K should be £229.
This makes more sense as a 10K + 15K is no longer cheaper than the 24K.
I also asked for clarification of what would happen if someone took a longer contract to get the cheaper rate but then changed early. They said as long as the battery lease is transferred to the new owner (whether it be garage or a private sale) then there are no charges, but if you were to hand the car back to RCI then there would be some early termination charges based on the formula in the lease agreement.
As we are in limbo currently, we have a signed order form for our demo car, but no battery paperwork, we do need to look at the individual amounts.
Granted as an overall package the new deals are very good, but to 30p quoted excess battery rental needs clarification from RCI before I am totally happy.
the 2 year pcp may be lower, but the battery rental price is even higher.
