@ trevor
charing in london you are best of with the polar card. they have more points than any of the others.
also ecotricity is another good one to have for service stations. on your trip you will pass newport pagnell which has a rapid charger for the zoe!!
beest of luck mate!

July 28, 2013 at 08:38 #4213I chased my dealer for an update this week and have been told my Zoe is built and awaiting shipping from the compound in France (ordered 11th June if that helps anyone).
They expect to get the car at the Leicester dealership between 15 and 22nd August. I presume once there it will need a pre-delivery inspection (PDI), valet and tax/registration.
I am tempted as it is so close to wait for a hand over on 1st September to get the car on a 63 plate.
July 28, 2013 at 10:54 #4217Appmacguy, I understand the tempation, though personally I just want it asap.
Meanwhile I’ve updated my info in the table, added jit187’s ZOE, and put in a picture of Buzzar’s ZOE (click to expand).
July 28, 2013 at 11:23 #4218Trevor, heart says I want it (possible name EVie) ASAP but head says for the sake of a week or two in the scheme of things isn’t much to wait especially if it turns up on 22nd or late.
It looks like the forum can expect four new owners this week then according to the order table, yay!!!

I’m also waiting for my zoe from renault leicester!!! What are the odds! Tell Emma I said hello. Freak her out how we know each other. Lol.
My car has the same status as yours. Told its in France waiting to be shipped over. Will have it latest next Friday!!! I can’t wait until sept for 63 plate. Just need to get my hands on it ASAP
July 28, 2013 at 20:27 #4227Hi jit187.
I think you ordered before me as Emma has said she has sold one before I’d ordered mine. It’s great to know someone local to talk to about charging and issues in the area.
I’d have thought if you are having it Friday 2nd or 9th Aug it would be in the country now. I don’t think ours are travelling over together if she said to expect mine 15-22nd.

Just for information, I ordered a Zoe from the Renault dealership in Salisbury on 16th May 2013 and paid the deposit. They gave me an optimistic delivery date of 15 July 2013. I received the British Gas HCP form to fill in and send back on 1st July (had to print and scan, seems inefficient in this day and age as we can electronically sign PDF files now). Like others I sent this to “evprojectmanager” (but that looks like an alias for the team that Adam is in /in charge of).
I sent a reminded note to them on 25th July (as we had not heard about a survey date) and I spoke to Adam today (29th July), when he gave me a date of 12th August (as it is for the 32A unit) for a combined survey and installation. He said that is the standard practice now. I must admit, he has always been very friendly and efficient in my communications with him.
We have a provisional delivery date from the Renault Dealership of the last week of September, but I think that may slip a week, so will keep monitoring it.
All the best
SteveJuly 29, 2013 at 11:22 #4241I’ve heard back from Tim, my sales person, and he says he’s still looking into it but it appears all Zen orders have been pushed back to a september manufacturing date. I can’t see anyone else in the table who’s ordered a Zen but if anyone has, can you find out if your date has been pushed back?
In the mean time I’m going to mention to Tim that when other companies delay delivery they offer compensation. When my Apple laptop was delayed a few years ago they apologised and upgraded the ram free of charge. Another time an Apple order was delayed they gave me a 10% off voucher for the Apple Store. If an Ocado food order is delayed by more than 2 hours you get a £10 voucher and if the delivery has to be cancelled you get £25 credit. In all these cases they contact you rather than you having to chase them and they offer the discount or upgrade as a standard ‘we are sorry’ to maintain customer satisfaction.
Renault could learn a lot from other companies!
