I haven’t seen this link referenced anywhere but the Renault R-Link portal (registration required) lets you download software to your Mac or PC to manage your SD card (card reader required) for your R-Link sotware, update maps, voices away from the Zoe.

Thanks for that! I haven’t made much sense of the R-Link yet, and most apps on it seem to be greyed out. I’ll try out that app.

I’ve downloaded and installed this R-Link Toolbox, and registered with the R-Link website. Having used it to update the SD card I appear to have more services available (unless something else changed in the meantime) including the charge timer no longer being greyed out. Some useful stuff is still greyed out, though, like the charge points in the satnav services.

I have ordered an SD card reader for my iMac to allow me to use this and already installed the software. Once I have the information to register I will give it a go.

is the SD port on the zoe just for system updates and mapping ?
or will we need a USB stick for music ?

Don’t know. I’ve got music running off a USB stick, I haven’t tried ‘interfering’ directly with the SD card.

I did wonder if you could put the R-Link software from the card that comes with the Zoe to one with more memory and then add a load of music and files that you could access via the touchscreen.

Received my connected services contract from Reno yesterday. Another piece of paper I didn’t know about. The contract is for 36 months which is described as a ‘Digital Pack Falk 36 months as standard’ with the Vin number of the vehicle and the price 0.00 GBP. This also comes with the R Link store welcome letter with details of how to connect on your PC at https://gb.rlinkstore.com. The puzzle is gradually unfolding as we go forward all that is required now is a sheet when you go to buy the Zoe with ‘100 questions to ask before you purchase’!(or how to confuse your salesman)

did anyone else get 2 contracts from the dealer when they picked up their zoe?

I got three and I cant work out why. I’ve registered all 3 for ZE service online and all 3 do exactly the same…

also is anyone else getting this message on r-link?

    error

I haven’t gone through all my paperwork yet. I don’t get that message, but I don’t seem to have a connection – some of the apps (presumably the connected ones) are greyed out.
