Hell Trevor,
I use WAZE as navigator.
WAZE is a an open source navigator. I prefer to use it instead of Tomtom. Is it possible to download that into the the ZOE on board computer via R-Link.
thank you,
kenAugust 19, 2013 at 17:22 #4597Sounds good – I’ll give it a go once I’m connected.

May only have a few years use left in the RLink
Will need to connect phone to stream radio.August 20, 2013 at 21:11 #4620Well, as a matter of fact, DAB failed in most other countries (in Germany we have DAB+ with an minimal number of listeners). I’ve read that it was very successful in GB due to a wise frequency handling.
But you can handle this via the AUX in..back to analogue though. :-/Regards
UmbiAugust 20, 2013 at 22:35 #4621There is every chance that the radio hardware in the r-link is very basic with the majority of the work being done in software. In a number of cases I’ve heard of the hardware does nothing other than demodulation and so it is entirely possible a software update or a store purchase could enable DAB support for r-link.
I believe the last patents surrounding the encoding and decoding of DAB (although not DAB+) streams expired earlier this year.
August 23, 2013 at 10:51 #4691ok so i found out som additional info today.
looks like charge points are updated by tomtom and not renault.
and charge points are not updated ‘wirelessly’ like speed cameras for example and the only way to update the charge points is to create an account with tomtom. then download the tomtom ‘my home’ software and insert the SD card into your computer and let that update!
will try this later on and will let you know how this goes…
August 23, 2013 at 13:40 #4692@jit187 I’d be interested in how you get on and also for you to note if by updating you loose your previous visited charging point locations.
(Visiting dealer Tuesday to sign battery lease and online services. Have all but Polar card now, got my reg no., agreed a 9am pick up on Sunday 1st. Not long now!)
