Well bk to work tomorrow, im only charging the car until bedtime as dont trust people near where i live lol, dont want it being damaged by some idiot…
Ps i have a 32a 7kw charger at home but its only charging around 3.3kw?
How are you measuring this? How full is the car? (It’ll slow down towards the end of the charge).
It was on 40% at 8pm on 55% now :-/
I have a electric box which says how much electric im using and currently its 4kw but around 0.8 is my tv fridge freezer etc
If this is the first time your charger has been used, my gut feeling (unless there is some text otherwise), you may have been accidentally supplied a 3.3kw charger rather than a 7kw by your installer. Especially as you said the car lapped up a 43kw Ecotricity unit.
About 3.3kw is the other default size.
Ive emailed the british gas engineer who contacted me after buying the car, ill await a reply but hopefully he can change the unit 🙂 or ill pester evans halshaw to help me sort it out lol
Cheers for the replys
