Haha your in for a surprise when the temp dips again. 😉 or wet roads, your range drops like your driving through a swamp.
Obviously being further north it was longer in warming up, until a couple of weeks ago I was getting barely over 3mpkwh. I know how low range can be in cold conditions if you use heat and use of the go pedal.
I’ve got my range up to 87miles + just enough to get to work tomorrow. Probably 92miles all in. All In Eco mode but using most of that 60mph most of the time, also had some air-conditioning bursts earlier in Week, so about as good as I can expect as it’s hilly here. Also that’s using just miles covered, I’ll have no range left in the Guess-o-battery so I consider my figures to be truly representative of what I can do. No 70miles covered and 30miles remaining so that means 100miles range for me. If I’m not in turtle mode when I get to work I’m not trying hard enough. 😀
June 19, 2015 at 09:17 #19898There you go my commute is A road based with pent of gradient change (well it is Scotland). I drove close to 60 where I can, no concessions to Ev other than ECO mode being used. This next week I will do the same journeys but not in ECO mode.
Mileage covered was 92.5 miles.
